I-O Psychologist, Published Author/Researcher, & Entrepreneur

DR. JULIETTE NELSON, PhD-IOP, CDE®

Empowering people and supporting their journeys in stepping out as their best authentic selves and walking in their purpose.

I am an industrial-organizational psychologist, entrepreneur, and published author passionate about empowering people to achieve the highest standards of their purpose. As a practitioner in industrial-organizational psychology, focusing on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, I work to implement solutions that foster a safe workplace for individuals at all levels of groups and organizations. My independent research focuses on workers across various disciplines identifying as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC), exploring the unique challenges they face and contributing to more inclusive and supportive work environments.

I am the Founder and CEO of JUNURI, a company that equips students, professionals, and business owners with the tools and resources to be successful in the different areas of their lives. JUNURI is also the parent of JUNURI Publishing, which focuses on bringing a writer’s vision to life on paper, as well as NURILENS, a wooden eyewear collection with blue-light blocking solutions in each pair that celebrates individuality, self-expression, and each person’s calling to be impactful all in a pair of frames. I am also the Co-Founder & Chief Business Development Officer of Vwazen, a learning management system that works to meet the language learning needs of Haitian Creole speakers and learners.

In my book Sharing My Lens: The College Experience, I share some of the gems I wish I knew that prove to be valuable in achieving an engaging academic experience throughout college. Given my experiences, I am intentional about being an agent of motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to the world around me.
